Abstract [en]
The purpose with this study is to present a model for calculation, reporting and following up of CO2-emissions from IKEA’s activities as a future routine. Information that was necessary for this study was collected as well as descriptions of how the different IKEA units calculate and report their CO2-emissions today. Based on this information, suggestions for improving methods of calculation and reporting IKEA’s CO2-emissions are given. The reporting to BLICC should follow a routine. Today it is like starting a new project each year when the BLICC report is to be compiled and, for this reason, a fixed routine would be better – and time-saving.
