Abstract [sv]

In the daily work on board a ship, a lot of time is spent on security. With passengers on board it can be difficult to fit drills and training into the schedule. The idea of this project is to give employees an opportunity to learn about the ship and its organization at home, the only criterion is to have a computer where the program can be run. This project has been performed together with M/S Stena Nautica. Currently the training is only performed on board through binders containing the information. This set of training information, the safety management system (SMS), must not leave the ship. This program is freestanding and was developed in Macromedia Flash. It contains multimedia and information documentation needed to get a basic knowledge about the ship and its organization.
