Abstract [sv]

The object of this bachelor degree project is usability and installation programmes. The assigner of the project is National Netforms AB who develop user-friendly software to streamline projects. They also wish to have a user-friendly installation procedure of the software. The result of this bachelor degree project is a multimedia cd-rom. I have analysed the installation programme National Netforms provide their clients with and tried to find a way to replace, improve or complete the excisting graphical user interface. The main purpose of the new cd-rom is to provide the user with help during the installation. The content of the installation cd is both an easy-handed interactive multimedia installation guide and an installation guide in text format. A part from installing the software and using the installation guide, the user can also view a quicktour that shows features in installed software, read the user´s guide and license-agreement and get information about Netforms´ other products and services.
