Abstract [sv]
In Halmstad University there are a science project going on which purpose is to reduce the use of chemicals products in weed control. Instead of chemical weed control, a robot are used to perform a mechnical weed control. The robot uses digital image analysis to identify the crop. This projects task is to put together a system which collects images for the Mech-Weed project. The system are going to use a sensor that measure movement, a PC and a digital camera. A software will be developed to control the system. The software shall read the value from the sensor and estimate the movement. When the movement has reached a certain value the software shall command the camera to grab an image.
