Abstract [sv]
ABSTRACT The objective with this graduate work is to build an apparatus to measure the signal power from a Bluetooth unit. This was on the order from Free2Move AB. The station is built up around three units, transmitter, receiver and controller. Both the transmitter and the receiver are connected to the controller, which is a PC. The station is controlled by an interface on the PC. When the program is started the transmitter is rotated step by step. Between each step the signal power from the transmitter is checked, through the receiver. This gives the characteristic of the transmitter antenna all around. The measured data is saved into a file for further analysis. In the saved file there is also some relevant information about the object of measurement, i.e. date, object name and location.
