Abstract [en]
According to this thesis there is a factor that is important in decision making of the balances between sales in the car industry, namely the lease aspect. The sold cars will later on be used cars and the lease cost is based on the used car value when the leasing period is over. The supply of new cars will affect the used car value if the demand of used cars is constant. The used car value affects the leasing costs of new cars and the leasing cost affects the number of lease sales, which affects the profit for the investigated company. The conclusion of the thesis is a data model, which can be used for several purposes by just changing the data in order to find the best balance. This model is supposed to be applied to the car industry or other industries that have similar types of financing and demand of their products..
