Abstract [sv]

Companies throughout the world are living with risks in their daily lives, which can evolve in crises if those are not handled properly. Different types of crises exist but we intend to discuss only crises emerging from lost of leaders or key persons in the company. This thesis will target only companies, which are of micro or small sizes (0 99 employees) because this is considered a relatively unexplored area. The meaning of this thesis is to increase the understanding of the micro and small companies' way to handle crises, to prepare for crises and what they learned from these crises. These companies had to experience crises in a way which surprised the company.
