Abstract [sv]
In this project a memory protection scheme based on a Memory Management Unit (MMU), for a small existing real-time kernel is proposed. The memory protection scheme allow process-process protection as well as kernel protection from user mode processes. Further, a framework for a microkernel is proposed. These are implemented on a development kit EDB7312 with an ARM720T processor and developed using Embedded Workbench ARM, a development software by IAR Systems.
