Abstract [sv]
This project was done in association whit R & A technology. This report describes a newly developed USB interface for a Texas instruments DSP (digital signal processor). USB is a standard for serial computer communication. Usb has several advantages compared to normal serial communication, for example more user friendly and high transferrate. A number of integrated circuits have been studied for use in this application. A cypress circuit were chosen for it abilities to run in both host and device. A hardware and software have been developed. A number of general c-functions have been written for reading and writing to hardware. This project is mainly for running host devices.
