Abstract [sv]
In the following examwork an aid for blind people is maid. The condition for the examwork was to create a product that would give blind people an idea about how their surrounding looks like. The finished product translate distance to pulsesignals till the blind person. A rangefinder works as an eye and measures the distance to the target it is directed at. The value, from the measurement, translates to a equivalent pulse rate. A short distace represents of a high pulse rate and a longer distance represents of a lower pulse rate. A vibrationmotor that goes on and of is used to create the pulses. More than one of the previous discribed constructions can be used to get a better described view for the blind person.
