Abstract [sv]

Degree project, which involves widening the functionality of an existing project management program, Autoflow Webkit, by adding a communication module to the program. The module facilitates communication between project members that are working with Autoflow Webkit. The module contains varying types of functionality that infers combining several techniques of the programming language Java. A successful development of this project will lead to an increased functionality of Autoflow Webkit containing the communication module. The program will then be even more powerful in the competition against similar programs on the market. Communication between members is essentially maintained by the Remote Method Invocation (RMI) technique, the Java Servlets technique is used for communication between the communication module and the main program. The product promotes the functionality determined by the assigner, such as direct communication between project members, saving and opening conversations and inviting members.
