Medlingsinstitutet: En offentlig myndighet präglad av nytänkande?
Halmstad University, School of Social and Health Sciences (HOS).
2002 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor)Student thesis
Abstract [sv]
This essay will deal with the democratic quandary of negotiations. A new public government, Medlingsinstitutet, will be used as an empirical example in order to ascertain the relation of democracy and negotiations. Focus is set on Medlingsinstitutet, and the questions at issue will be related to democratic aspects of its foundation. The theory, which the government will be related to, original from the Norwegian political scientist. E.O. Eriksen. His theory is due to concepts of rationally drawn up reasoning about democratic aspects of management. This theory will be adopted, on the new public government, in order for the author to give an answer to the questions at issue. The result of closer invetsitgation of Medlingsinstitutet, will ultimately be combined with the reasoning of negotiations.
