Abstract [sv]

The purpose of this study was to show and explore the use of match analysis in badminton in the south part of Sweden. The instrument used was observations of five players and interviews with their coaches. The players were in the level just below elite players. The result showed that coaches uses match analysis and subjective analyses was the most common way. The coaches´ age had a range from 20 -60 years old. They had different knowledge of objective analysis. The coaches used different systems to analyse their player´s performance. The conclusion was that coaches´ opinion about match analysis is positive and has a great influence on their players. But their opinion were that time and money are a problem for using the method.
