Abstract [en]
This report is a comparison of the procedures, the background and the legal consequences of the acceptance of construction work in Sweden and in Germany. The comparison is based on the contract regulations for general contractors. For the German market this is the „Verdingungsordnung für Bauleistungen“ (VOB2000) and in Sweden „Allmänna Bestämmelser för totalentreprenader avseende Byggnads-, Anläggnings- och Installationsarbeten“ (ABT94). In addition to the results of the comparison of the regulations, a research on the practical implementa-tion of the regulations is done in both countries. This research is based on nine interviews with representatives of different building companies and associations in Sweden and in Germany.
