2002 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor)Student thesis
Abstract [sv]
Through this dissertation we could see how the French soccer teams could compete the best European associations. In fact, there is a very deep gap between the best teams in England (Manchester United)and the best ones in France (Lyon). This is due to a lot of juridical laws govering the French environment that prevent teams in France to go into the stock exchanges or to negotiate themselves the TV royalites for example. For the moment, the only way for the French teams to get more money in order to buy the best players is to develop a realy strategy like Manchester United or Real Madrid. These associations have understood with a couple of years in advance that soccer is not inly a sport but also a business where it is indispensable to have a lot of money.
