Abstract [sv]
This project has eliminated a cable that is attached to the steering wheel on a F1 power racing boat. The signals in the cable are from the switches on the steering wheel that controls the trim functions on the boat. We have used bluetooth technology in our finished solution. We use a PIC microprocessor in our solution to check the switches. The advantage with our solution is that it is not very sensitive to outer disturbances. The fact that it is very fast and reliable is a key factor.
