Abstract [sv]
Previous research shows that one key to success is how early processes of innovation are organized. Therefore the main aim of this study is to gain an understanding of how a highly innovative company organizes their early phases of the innovation process. We have made a qualitative case study at C technologies (Lund, Sweden), which contains thirteen interviews with nine employees at the R&D-department. Theory and empirical findings are compared and qualitative similarities and differences are described and explained. As a result of the analysis, we suggest other high tech companies to seek an: · Organization and management with a holistic view and understanding for innovation. · Organization that makes sure that knowledge is handled, spread and transferred between employees · Suitable employee that is responsible for idea management.
