Abstract [sv]
The aim of the Bachelor exam project was to construct an interface between the two standards, Bluetooth and MOST (Media Oriented System Transport). The interface will act as a node in the MOST network. The only requirement was to use an ARM processor (AT9140400) for control of the interface. Audio is transferred from a Bluetooth node to another, through an audio channel. The Bluetooth nodes deliver a data format, which is called PCM (Pulse Code Modulation). This audio must then be converted to another format, S/PDIF (Sony Philips Digital Interface Format) that’s appropriate for transmission out on the MOST network. Three circuit boards have been developed during the project, a Bluetooth platform, a conversion card and a MOST board.
