Abstract [sv]
The aim of study is to explore which were used by companies in Kalmar county concerning health promoting physical activity. The study design was quantitative and data were collected through a questionnarie. A total numbers of 90 questionnaires were distributed to companies within the community, the official and the private sector. Sixty-six (73,3%) of the questionnaires were returned. The result showed that the most common strategy chosen was subsidy of exercise activites. The choice of strategies depended to a great extent on the companies within the community employed a health promotes and budget especially for health promotion. The result from the official and private sector were significant lower current this (employed a health promotes and budged). Only one company had a group within management actively involved in the company´s healt work. Six of the participating companies evaluated financially their strategies and one fourth of the private companies valuated their staffs towards made health strategies. Fifty percent of companies kept statistic expences for sick leave and rehab. The majority of companies stated that physical activity profitable when used for preventive purpose and two third considered it profitable in rehabilitation. Most of the companies belived they would increase their investment in health promotion in the future, above all on subsidy regular exercise activities, exercise on working-hours and fitnesscenter in the company.
