Abstract [sv]

This technical report considers how to decrease the energy consumption in Halmstads Fastighets AB, a company that possesses around 10 200 apartments in Halmstad, Sweden. The emphasise of the report was to find a suitable work method for energy efficiency which could be impliemented by the company. An inventory regarding the energy- and water consumttions of the dwellings was made in order to find the buildings with the highest potential of energy saving. For the selection consideration was taken on factors such as age of the buildings, heating systems and ventilation systems. The selected buildings were then analysed in order to find appropriate remedies. Remedies can be investments of new systems or products but also to make the usage of the existing technical services more efficient.
