Abstract [sv]

The PC-computers of today are more and more adopting the PCI-bus standard (PCI = Peripheral Component Interconnect) and thereby abandoning the earlier ISA-bus. As a result of this, the company HMS has instructed us to research and develop a PCI-carry card for AnyBus, where the interface of the AnyBus-modul connects to the PCI-bus. The card will provide full PCI-/AnyBus-support. We will also create operating-routines for AnyBus access for Windows 95/98. The company HMS develops, produces and markets communications technology. AnyBus is one of their products. It is a fieldbus interface, that supports most of the fieldbuses in the market.
