Abstract [sv]

This project is about building a general foundation for networking products. The foundation has been formed in a way that provides that the products are easy to use. By example the foundation could be used in products like internet routers, internet radios and in the intelligent home for example supervision of the domestic appliances. The foundation was built by using a variant of the operating system Linux, uClinux. This version of the operating system runs on an MMU-less CPU. A product has been developed during the project, an internet router. This product is totally based on the, above described, foundation.
