Abstract [sv]
Abstract This project have been done by two students at the Construction Engineering Program at Halmstad University, in co-operation with Abetong Precon in Falkenberg, which is a large producer of prefabricated concrete-elements. The purpose with the report was to develop a sandwich-element with a thin, fibrereinforced exterior layer of concrete. The advantages will be both economical and practical, as the weight of the elements will decrease, and the amount of material will also be reduced. A new type of anchorage-system has been introduced due to limits for using traditional wire-mesh in the exterior layer. The construction has been tested in the Building Laboratory at Halmstad Univerity and also at the concrete-factory, with a good result. These tests showed that the construction has enough strength, and that there is a good possibility to produce a sandwich-element with considerable decreased thickness of the exterior concrete-layer.
