Abstract [sv]

I ett snabbt tekniskt utvecklande samhälle där individens roll i sjukvården växer, krävs allt mer patientanpassad sjukvård. Litteraturstudiens syfte var att belysa patienters tillfredställelse av smärtlindring postoperativt. I resultatet har patienternas tillfredställelse belysts samt mätmetoder för begreppet beskrivits. Faktorer som påverkar tillfredställelsen av konventionell respektive patientkontollerad smärtlindring (PCA) postoperativt har analyserats. Enligt vår uppfattning visar studierna en tendens till att PCA ger bättre tillfredsställelse än konventionell smärtlindring. Detta kan komma att stärkas i framtida studier.
