Abstract [sv]

Coil Pac is a type of automatic ring coiling and packaging machine. Today, Coil Pac stops for 4 seconds while the cable cuts off on the finished coil which is transported away and wrapped in PE-foil. The goal for this project has been to decrease the "down-time" which means that we can also reduce the size of the accumulator which is needed during the time the machine is still. With our new constuction, the "down-time" is 1,5 seconds and the amount of cable in the accumulator is reduced from 27 meters to 15 meters.
