Abstract [sv]
There haven´t many previous studies on attitudes towards food among Swedish high-schoolaged adolescents. It is very important for the students future health to eat healthy food. Too much fat in association with for instance a lack of fibred, will lead to obesity and higher risk of getting cardiovascular diseases and other healthproblems. This study aimed to etablish the adolscents attitudes towards food. To be able to investigate this, four classes at Swedish gymnasium were selected. A total of 11 questionnaires were distributed to the selected students. Many of the students don´t eat a wellcomposed breakfast. The girls often think twice before they eat something while while the boys don´t care so much about the nutritive substance in the food. Neither the girls nor the boys like the food served in school which leads to a large consumtion of unhealthy fastfood. The students seldom eat or cook with their families on evenings and weekends.
