Abstract [sv]

The word stress means different things to different people. We have in this essay studied teachers´attitude towards stress. Trough a qualitative study we have conducted interviews with four teachers, two woman and two men. The emphasis is put on how deal with stress at work and how it may or may not affect their private lives. The material gained from the interviews is summarized with help of headlines or so-called themes, categorized by what we belive to be the most important issues. We then connected our collected material to the theories we found relevant for our study and made our own analysis. We have interwoven our discussion in both the chapter of method and that of analysis. Finally we summed up everything in conclusion an reflected on our findings and what we had actually learnt from our work.
