Abstract [sv]

StudentTorget is a website on the Internet. It has been created to give students a common place for information and amusement. At the site students can find information about everything a student needs to know ranging from where to buy books to when the pub opens. It also gives local companies the opportunity to get in touch with the students through newsletters and ads. All of this is controlled by the StudentTorget-extranet wich allow companies to edit the way they present themselves and for students to get new possibilities to interact with other users. StudentTorget is built on a database containing all the information to be presented on the site and ASP-programming has been used to create the Extranet. The user interface has been written in HTML. StudentTorget will initially be tested at Växjö University, but in the future it will work nationwide.
