Abstract [sv]
The purpose of this project was to develop a test environment for functional simulation of ASIC:s. Ericsson Microwave System is working with a number of different projects where the engineers use different kind of processors in the tests. We have with our project laid the foundations for a testmodel in which the designer can simulate different kinds of processors in the same test environment. This can be done because the model, that has been developed, has a generic processor core. The simulator model is built up with different modules. It is simple to add the modules that the engineers requires for testing different ASIC:s. This makes the test environment flexible and easy to work with. We aimed to make the model as simple as possible so that the designers easily can get started. It is also possible to scale the model in a simple way when higher functionality is needed.
