Due to the fact that it is hard to find information on the Internet, we have developed a product that makes it easier for people to find what they are looking for. Gatebase is a gateway to Internet, which contains personalised news. The users of Gatebase can chose from different categories of news and watch them in this gateway. The visitor must be a member and have a unique username and password to access Gatebase. JSP(JavaServer Pages), JDBC(Java Database Connectivity) and HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language), are the techniques that have been used to develop Gatebase.
