Abstract [sv]
Getinge AB is a multinational company, with manufacturers and offices in all continents. The main office is in Getinge, Sweden, where they also manufacture sterilising machinery for the pharmaceutical industry and for hospitals. During the manufacturing process the equipment must pass rigorous security tests to be sure that they meet the international standards and regulations. The machine is controlled by a PLC. And the programming platform used to program the PLC is custom made by a company in Gothenburg and is used both to program and test the equipment. This thesis intention was to program a new test-program where some of the functions is re-used from the old test-program, and to reduce the number of test personnel. Up to now it takes two persons, one to run the program on the computer, and one to check the valves and switches on the sterilising machinery.
