Abstract [sv]
The purpose of this project was to construct and build a controlsystem for electrically manouvered window shutters. The controlsystem does not use any sensors to determine the position of the sash. Instead, the currentflow to the motor is analyzed in a microcontroller. The current is increasing when the sashwindow has reached its end. By searching for this currentpeak, the controlsystem knows when to turn the motor off. It also knows the approximate time it takes to open and close the shutter to be able to calculate when to accelerate and when to slow down. The speed of the shutter is regulated by pulsewidthmodulating the voltage. The microcontroller is a PIC16F876 from Microchip, which contains both A/D-converters and PWM. It is also equipped with a flashable program-memory, which makes it possible to program and erase the chip electrically, even when it is mounted in the product. This makes it easy to upgrade and to customize the product.
