Abstract [sv]
The purpose of this thesis project has been to gather and to analyze different methods of how to construct intelligent homes. There has also been a concentration in how to control the house by using speech recognition. By analyzing different models of sending techniques, control systems and speech recognition, such as Bluetooth, the e-Box and hidden Markov, a model of an intelligent home was designed. Other aspects that have been taken under consideration have been energy, applications and the effects on people surrounded by this technique. To make a connection to real life a scenario, that shows a possible use of the applications, has been described.
