Abstract [sv]

The project and the product Econceal are part of a cooperation between innovation engineers Richard Vahlgren and David Börjesson and the company Ecophon. The task for the group has been to eliminate manual painting. The painting is done on the edges on Ecophon's acoustic ceilings, Focus A, when cut to fit in the cielingframe along the walls in a room. The project has successfully resulted in a product that decreases the time required by the craftsman by 80 %. The aim was 50 % The purpose was to make the process faster since the cost for the salary is the major part of the cost for the treatment. The work has included both a written report and fully functional prototype.
