Abstract [en]
Sincae the 1970’s, the debate regarding the environment has grown. It has become more and more important to take responsibility for the actions taken by human beings and organizations, Nature has had it and it is to be seen in serveral ways. The ozone speher is thinned because of too much gas pollution. Another problem caused by human actions is the green house effect. Earth is getting warmer and warmer because of increased carbon dioxide pollution. The third big problem is lakes and watercourses which become overgrown and the ground which becoms acidificated. This rape of nature has forced governments to take action, with laws and regulations. Some companies try to do as little as possible, just enough to follow the minimal laws. Other companies try to take command over the new situation and start developing effective solutions to their problems. In a time of internationalization and strong competition, environment has become an important part of the organization.
