Abstract [en]
Purpose: The purpose of our research paper is to find out how companies worldwide use their websites and the Internet when conducting relationship marketing. Formulation of the problem: Relationship marketing is becoming increasingly important as the impersonal, tradiotional view of marketing is being questioned. Today the Internet has to be a part of the marketing strategy of a company. Not only because all competitors are on the Internet, but more importantly because it is a powerful tool when executing relationship marketing. Nevertheless, many companies do not know how to use in order to create greater customer satisfaction. Our research paper deals with the opportunaties offered by the Internet in terms of relationship marketing; how to build a good relationship with the customers. Conclusion: Companies mainlyuse the Internet in order to strengthen the customers relationship, improve customer service and saving time and money. Companies that are successful on the Internet have realized its strengths and possibilities. Since the Internet offers valuable in order to conduct relationship marketing, buildning and maintaining a corporate website should be an essential part of the business for every company.
