Abstract [sv]
Graphical Interface for Vision-Guided Mechanical Weed-Control is a Bachelor of Science degree project in Computer Systems Engineering. The degree project is in corporation with Centre for Computer Architecture, CCA, one of the research centres at Halmstad University. The persons who have worked with this project are Joakim Johansson and Anders Karlsson, two Computer Systems Engineering students at Halmstad University. The project involves developing a graphical interface for a computer system that performs weed-control at sugar-beet plantations. The interface will be applied to a PC/104, a standard for PC-compatible compact computers. The PC/104 is equipped with a touch-screen control; therefore the graphical interface must be developed as a touch-screen application. The programming language is ANSI-C and the operating system is DOS4/GW, a 32-bits extension of the regular 16-bits MS-DOS.
