Abstract [sv]

This thesis work is made at Sigma Information Design in Gothenburg. The prupose of this work was to facilitet troubleshooting and diagnostics of the electronics in modern vehicles. The goal of this thesis work was to design the software for a PC-based measurement instrument which can measure and process all signals in the computerised controllsystem to present and log this signals in the PC. An important step in the development of this software prototype was to build an userfriendly interface. The software is developed with Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 and use Microsoft Access 97 database-engine for storages of measure data.
