Abstract [sv]

The thesis work main goal is to develope a prototype of a DC-DC-converter. This converter is buildt with the latest technology to be used with base stations in telecommuniction systems. The converter has high efficiency, fast step response and high current. In this application a syncronous rectifier is used as well as "glitch catcher" technologies. The physic dimensions are limited in height to 8 mm, which demand use of the latest components on the market. This design is a co-operative work with Ericsson Microwave Systems in Mölndal AB.
