Abstract [sv]

In today’s industry many different types of lifting aids are being used to help avoid injuries, mainly on the back and shoulders. For this reason, there is a constant demand for lifting devices for still lighter loads. This has caught the attention of Movomech System AB. Movomech wishes to develop a small and quick hoist for loads up to 40 kg, which eventually resulted in this project. During the autumn term of 98 and spring term of 99, this project was driven at Halmstad University. It has now resulted in a low-cost and user-friendly hoist, which hopefully will contribute to a decreasing number of wearing injuries among today’s industrial workers.
