Abstract [sv]

Our final examination was to adapt the brakingsystem of a walking frame for people with Reumatoid Artrit. The aim was to develop a system by pressing down with the palm of the hand instead of the conventional hand grip. As the frame is of a tubeconstruction which connects both rear wheels, we also developed a mechanism so that by pressing one handle caused a braking effect on both wheels. The result is a walking frame of simple functional design.
