Abstract [en]
Concumers do not buy products, they buy brands. during the last couple of years branding has becomea very important concept for many companies. Brands are now put on the balance sheets as assets and heavy investments are made to sustain the brand value - the brand equity. The aim of this dissertation is to descibe what brand identity and brand equity is and what it consists of. The aim is also to describe how these two concepts are linked.
