Abstract [en]
This dissertation is concerned with the various pollutants that have been released into the atmosphere and have subsequently caused air pollution and in recent decades the serious threat of global warming and the depletion of the ozone laye, thus threatening life as we know it. Road transportation is one of the Earth’s main polluters. The aim of this dissertation was to ascertain how the serois problem of road transportation pollution could be reduced, focusing primarily on alternative fuelled vehicles, in particular electric vehicles.
