Abstract [sv]

Our assignmnet was to concretize the energy concept for pupils in comprehensive school. The expected reult was a education facility that leads to a deeper understanding of the enery concept and to produce a teacher manual. EDUPLATE consist of both a physic platform, a teacher manual and a box of suggestion cards for the pupils. All the experiment on the platform consists from the sum. On EDUPLATE the sun is simulating by a central mounted bulb. The teachers manual gives a full and detailde account of the equipment. The cards supports the pupils in their experimenting by giving them hints and underlying facts. EDUPLATE is elfinstructing and based on the students curiosity and desire to learn abour energy. EDUPLATE aim at engender comprehension for energy more then just repeating facts. The experiments on EDUPLATE are for exampel the stirling engine and the fuel cell,
