Abstract [sv]

Task: Conduct product improvement on Ericsson’s carphone charger, designed for charging via cigarette-lighter-sockets. The current cigarette-lighter-socket chargers’ ability to adjust into certain cars is not satisfactory. In certain sockets, it is both to long and to detachable. This came clear in tests, which approximately 95% off all cars in Sweden were part of. Four different principle solutions in target pragrams were divergent and convergent solutions have been work with and procesed. Result: The chosen solution is devided in two parts, which are connected with an interjacent flat straight cord, where the electronics is placed outside the cigarette-lighter-socket. The extractor on the anterior part will also be used as a handle and should consist of an elastic material.
