Abstract [sv]

To drive fast is essantial in rally. The most skilled driver with the best equipment stand the best chances of winning. Since the tires are the cars final contact with the road it is important that they are in a perfect condition. To obtain the necessary grip on snowy winterroads the drivers must use studded rallytires. When the manufactures stud the rallytires they use a machine that cause large wear on the machines nozzle. The wear results in manufacturingstops when the machineparts have to be exchanges. The main objective of this examination project is to create a new method that reduces the wear during the studdingprocess. The new method will result in lower maintenance cost since the change of macineparts will occur less often.
