Abstract [sv]

The purpose of this project was to design a supervising system for all types of digital and analog inputs. The system was built around the microprocessor MC68HC11, and auxiliaty hardware. It works as an alarmsystem which transmits the alarms to to a mobile GSM-telephone, by sending a textmessage witth a description of the alarm, using the SMS-function included in the GSM-system. The construction is also a datalogger which can be accessed by modem or via the RS232 interface, by using a computer terminal. In this way the logged data can be downloaded to a computer by using file-transfer protocol X-modem, and viewed in Excel as a diagram. The result of the project was a prototype that met all os the stated design goals. The document also includes an overview of the GSM-system.
