Abstract [sv]
The idea of our thesis project is to examine if the technique of measuring the brains response back to the cochlea of audio stimuli is possible to simplify and if it’s possible to to do in a way that’s comfortable for the patient. This process is today very difficult to manage and painful for the patient. The project concludes development of a new electrode for non-invasive measurement in the ear-canal and construction of a signal processing hardware and software in MSVVisualC++ with MFC for Windows. To manage external access of the mesured data, we use DAO to infarct between the software avd a MSAaccess database. With this contribution to medical science we want to present the methods to simplify and increase the costs in an effective way to diagnose the disease.
