Abstract [sv]

Many companies store information about customers etc in databases. AP&T Tranemo has a leading technology in production of production tool for gastubes and pressuretanks. All their sketches of products are stored in a Access 2.0 database, which today contains about 16000 posts. Project GRASOT is a programming project for AP&T Tranemo. What AP&T required was a userfriendly interface to the database with a highly developed tool for searching in the database. They also wanted to be able to mark several sketches for printing and viewing. GRASOT is developed in Visual C++ under Windows NT 4.0. The result of this project is a complete program that fulfills the requirements from AP&T.
