Abstract [sv]
The purpose of the project is to create a Windows based program, designed to perform technical calculations on mechanical couplings. The main purpose of such calculations is dimensioning of servo engines and gear boxes. The customers mechanical application, a positioning board for instance, can be built up using graphical objects and filling in parameters into forms. Afterwards the user is given the option to simulate the model being created, Should the user specify which engine and gear box is to be used, the program evaluates if the chosen ones are sufficient enough to meet the costumers demands. If the two objects are left unspecified, however, the program shows which models of enginge and gear box that indeed are sufficient.
